Jakarta Governor, Basuki T PUrnama instructs Satpol PP to be more active guarding security in the capital during Eid holiday. Considering many homes are empty because left by the owner for homecoming.

"Satpol PP must be active. Jakarta must be safe and conducive," disclosed Basuki, at City Hall, Friday (7/1).

His party has instructed several SKPD employees to take leave after Eid. They are Satpol PP, Transportation Dept, freelancer, PPSU and health officer.

Thus security and cleanliness in the city can remain be maintained. Moreover, several recreational sites would be thronged later, such as Ancol, TMII, Ragunan Zoo, Monas, Kota Tua, etc.

Meanwhile, Basuki also reminds local residents who take homecoming to make a report to local apparatus first. Thus their homes will be safe.

"They must report first before homecoming," he said.
